Flying for Conservation

FROM AMERICA TO AFRICA... In June 2012 Alexis Peltier and Michel Laplace-Toulouse will embark on an intrepid journey flying a Piper Super Cub aircraft which is designed more to fly over game reserves counting wildlife than for crossing continents & oceans... This is an incredible journey of 18.000Km at a speed of 130 Km/h. The goal is to reach out to as many people as possible along the route and through lectures to create awareness about the plight of Africa’s wildlife outside protected areas in Africa and more particularly in Kenya’s Shompole Group Ranch... Personalised aerial safaris

Hello and welcome to the Kenyan home of Alexis Peltier, 44-year-old French bush pilot, aerial photographer and founder of the Wings for Earth Maisha Trust, an environmental protection organisation established to foster better understanding concerning the interactions between man and his environment.

I also organise the production of feature-length and documentary films and fashion catalogue photo shoots. Finally, I am the organiser of personalised aerial safaris, which take visitors off the touristy beaten track. I've lived in Africa for 33 years, had 23 years of experience in Kenya and clocked 6,000 hours of flight time over all types of terrain.

Do I exist ? Just have a look at our References in "Le Guide du Routard", "Le Petit Futé", "Le Guide Hachette", "The Lonely Planet" or in "Go to Place".
