Things to bring on safari.

  1. A small first aid kit with the following
    • Paracetamol (ex : efferalgan)
    • Anti-histamine ( ex : Claritine and Piriton)
    • Cortisone (ex :Solupred)
    • Antibiotic broad spectrum, (ex : clamoxyl, monuril)
    • Anti-spasmodc ( ex : spasfon )
    • Anti diorreah ( ercefuril, tiorfan, Immodium)
    • Eye drops cleansers
    • Disinfectant / gauze and bandage.
    • Thermometer
    • Anti histamine cream, ( anthisan )
    • Travel sickeness : (Mercalme, Dramamine) Reccomended.
  2. Skin Care
    • Mosquito repellent. Mousse or spray.
    • Sunscreen Face and body.
    • Cleansing wipes
    • Dental care
    • Brush, comb
    • Shampoo, soap, scrubber.
  3. Clothes (all cotton or easy to wash / dry. Most lodges are equipped with quick clothes cleaning service).
    • 1 swimsuit
    • 1 shorts and 2 pants
    • 3 tee-shirts
    • 1 sarong
    • 1 light sweater
    • 2 shirts including one with long sleeves
    • 1 polar, 1 K-Way
    • 1 pocket waistcoat
    • 1 Sun hat or cap, sunglasses
    • Socks, underwear
    • 1 light dress.
  4. Shoes
    • Flip-flops (never walk barefoot in the rooms. Flip-flops are essential on the coast) Walking salndals.
    • Trainers or light walking shoes. Thick and Thin Socks.
  5. Other
    • Camera with loads of storage space, Binoculars. Spare batteries, chargers.
    • Headlamp and spare batteries.
    • Some pens and a notepad. If you enjoy scetching or painting, some watercolours, pencils.
    • Two or three International or special adapters English plugs (The voltage is the same, and there is a possibility, without adapter, to plug French plugs by lowering a small flap with a pen)
