Day 1
Depending upon your arrival time, you will be collected at the airport, and taken to the small airfield where this adventure begins. You can enjoy a lovely coffee as we load the plane ready for departure. Take off for a spectacular 3h flight to Lake Turkana. We will be able to land, stop and stretch our legs now and then. This is one of the most dramatic and visually stunning places I know. In the lands of great skies, we pass over the equator near Mt. Kenya, and the Abadares range, over the laikipia plateau, North across the elbarta plains, the mighty Milgis lugga, Mt. Nyiru, and finally the staggeringly dramatic Lake.
A memorable moment as you take in the scene of Lake logipi with sometimes thousands of pink flamingos , the volcanic barrier that divides the lakes, the Naboyiatom and Telekis volcanos, and the iridescent Jade of the sea. the earth shows you her full glory.. Traversing up the west coast, over the riverine delta of the Turkwell River, until we land at Eliye springs. Transfer to a simple cabin camp, where the rooms are inspired by the traditional Turkana tribe, and innovatively designed for your comfort, with the cool lapping waters of the lake on your doorstep.
Lunch, and afternoon walk along the duney doumb palm beach, enjoying the proximity to the lake. Dinner and night in your banda.
Day 2
Breakfast on the beach, and conditions allowing, we'll go for a full day boat trip to the Central Island national park. There are three volcanic plugs on the island , each boasting a different colour lake, it remains an important breeding site for the flamingos, and is a gazetted national park within the Lake Turkana basin. The region is hot and desertified, renowned for its prehistoric fossils, and can give rise to violent winds which are often unpredictable.
We will have the opportunity to land and, time permitting, walk a little over central island, as we enjoy our pic nic lunch. Afternoon return to the lakeshore bandas for a shower and rest in the shade., or perhaps some interaction with the basketry work which the local women are involved with.
Freshen up for sundowners on the lake shore, and dinner by the fire on the beach, with all the stars in the universe as company.
Day 3
After an early breakfast, return to the plane ,for the flight over the islands, over to the east side of the Lake, the fossil sites of Foobi Fora, the hot springs of Loyangalani, now a sea of grass huts.
We fly down through the centre of the Great Rift Valley, with its great Lakes, Baringo, Bogoria and Nakuru, all pink with alkaline salts. We fly over lake Naivasha, and the majestic Longonot and Suswa volcanoes, along the Ngong hills, and back to the airfield.
After a freshen up and a snack, depending on your departure time, we take you to the airport for your flight home. These wonderful memories will serve you well and this adventure might well change your whole perspective on life.

Dress
Provide, loincloth, shorts, swimwear, fleece, pants, shoes, comfortable sandals, cap, sunglasses, flashlight. Kenya has many highlands, mornings, evenings and cloudy days, it can get cold there, the ultimate weapon, a good fleece and a raincoat.

Health
Antimalarial prophylaxis recommended mosquito repellent + a, yellow fever vaccine not mandatory in Kenya depending your antecedent travels but advised against it is required for travelers who have recently visited or transited + 12h in one of 42 countries in sub-Saharan Africa or South America.
High protection sunscreen, drink lots of water, no supply problem on the spot.
Common drug for minor cuts, digestive disorders, eye drops, antihistamines. Kit first complete emergency on board.

Formalities
Mandatory passport validity must be valid 6 months after the return date for French citizens * .
It MUST have at least two blank pages opposite.
If you travel with your children, minors, regardless of age, must also have an individual passport.
Visa
Effective 1st of July 2015, visitors to Kenya are now required to apply and pay for their visas online via www.ecitizen.go.ke
The visas will be processed and sent online to the applicant who will then be required to print out the approved visa and present it to immigration officer at the point of entry.
