Day 1

Depending on your arrival time in Nairobi, I pick you up and head off to the airport. Take off for a flight of 1H20 to the Meru Reserve passing by the South East side of Mt. Kenya. Small aerial safari to try to find elephants before landing at Meru, which is a little known park. This park of 870 km2 was destroyed in the 1980s by poachers and it took almost 20 years to rebuild its fauna. Transfer to the small lodge while doing a photo safari. Lunch and in the afternoon, departure for another personalized safari. More than any other region, Meru draws its strength from the incredible diversity of landscapes   : sparse savannas of baobabs, bushy hills, innumerable streams, marshy areas ...
In the south of the park, the Tana River gives birth to a corridor of greenery - doum palms, dense forests - and is the main place of refuge for hippos and crocodiles.
Dinner and overnight at the small lodge.

Day 2

Safari day in the Meru park. Due to the large size of the park, the animal density does not reach those of the neighboring parks: you will be proud to have been able to observe the main endemic species of northern Kenya: gazelle giraffe (or gerenuk), giraffe reticulated, Greve zebra, kudu ... It is not uncommon to observe leopards there. Visitors are few in number, allowing the park to retain a fairly confidential setting. Animals, unaccustomed to man, are more fierce ... an authentic rendezvous with the wilderness ! Dinner and overnight at the small lodge.

Day 3

After a warm snack, morning departure for a personalized 4x4 safari in search of wild animals and all other animals in the Meru reserve. Breakfast in the bush, safari and return to the plane for a superb flight of 0H50, towards the Mathew's mountains over the Mutuati depression, the great plain of the Samburu and the Ndutus mountains covered with primary forests. Landing on a bush trail where we wait for a lunch picnic. Rest, unloading of the plane and another surprise of size awaits you, a superb aerial excursion of 2H00. Our wings will take us on the plains of Bargoï and plunge in the valley of the great rift at Suguta level, its colored canyons, its sandy desert, its superb mineralogy   ; great emotion at the passage of the amazing Lake Logipi, its palette of color and its pink flamingos. It is also the lowest and warmest point of the Rift Valley in Kenya. The sumptuous final bouquet, the discovery of the southern end of Lake Turkana and its volcanoes Naboyetom and Telekis, here the earth shows its elusive beauty and all its power. It is one of the most beautiful I know of in East Africa. To top it off, far from the beaten track, we will return by the heights of Mount N'giru, where it is said, resides the god Samburu. Returning on the Mathew's trail, transfer in 4x4 to the small lodge in full nature. Tonight I will explain how to use some stars. Dinner and overnight at the small lodge.
